Convert ICICI Bank statement PDF to Excel

ICICI Bank statements from iMobile or internet banking carry a transaction-remarks column that generic tools split incorrectly. StmtSnap reads the ICICI layout and keeps each remark whole, with withdrawals, deposits and the balance in their own columns.

Excel and CSV are free, plus Tally XML, QuickBooks QBO and Zoho CSV on paid plans.

Text PDFs are converted in this browser and never uploaded. Scanned PDFs are read by Google Gemini, and we ask first.

Before you convert: a text PDF stays on your device. If the PDF is a scan, we show a notice before any page is sent to Google Gemini, and scanned pages need a free account. Excel and CSV are free; Tally XML, QuickBooks QBO and Zoho CSV are on paid plans (pricing).

Columns on a typical ICICI statement

  • Transaction Date
  • Value Date
  • Transaction Remarks (UPI / NEFT / IMPS detail)
  • Cheque / Ref. Number
  • Withdrawal Amount (Dr)
  • Deposit Amount (Cr)
  • Balance

The export keeps the transaction date, the full description and the amount split into debit and credit, plus the running balance. Value-date and cheque/reference columns are not exported in this version; a reference printed inside the narration stays in the description.

How to download your ICICI e-statement PDF

  1. Log in to ICICI internet banking or open the iMobile Pay app.
  2. Go to Accounts → Statement → select the period.
  3. Download as PDF and note the PDF password if one is applied.
  4. Open the PDF in StmtSnap and download your Excel file.

ICICI's remarks field frequently includes the UPI VPA and a long reference string that wraps onto a second line. StmtSnap joins the wrapped lines back into one remark, so GST and vendor matching stay reliable in the exported Excel.

The same parse drives the Tally XML and QuickBooks QBO outputs, so a practice can hand the bookkeeper the Excel and the accountant the Tally file from one conversion.

Questions

Is the ICICI converter free to use?
Yes. The free tier covers 15 pages a month with no card required.
Does it work with iMobile-downloaded PDFs?
The converter locates the column header in whatever PDF you open, so it does not depend on which channel produced it. Check the balance result on your first statement either way.
Can I export the ICICI statement to Tally or QuickBooks?
Yes, on the Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans. Excel and CSV are free.
Are password-protected ICICI PDFs supported?
Yes. Type the PDF password when asked. The file is unlocked in your browser; neither the PDF nor the password is uploaded.
How accurate is ICICI parsing?
Every conversion is checked before you download: the running balance row by row, and the opening and closing balances where the statement prints them. A ICICI statement that did not read cleanly shows as a mismatch instead of a tidy but wrong file. If that happens, email us the layout with the numbers blanked out.
